Some of my sweetest prized possessions. I adore my friends. I am know I would not be the girl I am today if it weren't for every friend I've had in my life, but I am certain that if it weren't for these few, my life wouldn't be the same.
My sweet, Kali. The most genuine, kind, and humble friend that I have had the honor to get to be friends with and even be a bridesmaid in her wedding. In high school, we were both really involved with student council, junior board, senior board, and other various activities, which is how we met. After graduation, we both went to different schools... but a very rough time in my life came suddenly and I decided I was going to transfer to OSU mid fall 2008 for the spring 2009 semester. She helped me through every bit of getting to OSU with an apartment right by hers and doing absolutely anything she could to make me fit in and feel comfortable. She has always been the kind of friend to care deeply about my soul. Not just the "how are you? ok great" kind of caring, it's always so much more. But wanna know the best part? She is the one who truly opened the door for me to get to Christ. She got me involved in her church at the time, LifeChurch.tv, and I was hooked. I couldn't get enough of Jesus and it get's better every day. Kali even baptized me last year. She is easily, with out a doubt, one of my closest friends.
Kristen. Oh goodness. Let's just say, we were "acquaintances" for a while. Haha. (Don't worry, it's an inside joke). We became great friends almost instantly once I arrived at OSU. Acting like complete freaks together is our specialty, along with making ridiculous music videos together. She was there for me through my "growing-out-of-being-in-a-relaitonship" process and all that comes along with it. We both also got to experience Vegas together for the first time. I couldn't have asked for a better person to spend it with!
Monica! Monica! Have a happy hanukka! Gosh, she is so great. SO great. If I had to pick a friend who understands me the most and is most like me, it is absolutely 100% Monica. I feel so blessed to have a friend who always laughs at me, appreciates me for exactly who I am, and always makes sure I know it. She keeps me accountable with Christ and confides in me when she needs someone to listen and give advice.
